Six days on the Sea of Cortez
Five nights at the house and four full days on the water, with the drive up from the airport at one end and a morning transfer back at the other.

Arrival
Your international flight arrives into San José del Cabo (SJD) or La Paz (LAP), where you are met by a driver for the ground transfer to Baja House — about two hours from Los Cabos, about one from La Paz. First night at the house.
Settle in and get the rods rigged
- Days 2 — 5
Four full days of fishing
Each morning the boats are waiting on the beach in front of the house, just after sunrise. Four full fishing days, four nights back at Baja House.
Sight fishing from the boat
Casting to blitzing fish, and sometimes to structure along the coast and beaches.
Afternoons at the house
Relax, hang out by the pool, or keep fishing from the beach out front.

Departure
Breakfast overlooking the water, then a morning ground transfer back to the airport — allow about two hours for the drive to Los Cabos.

The daily fishing routine
A six to seven hour fishing day, from roughly 6:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
6:00 AM — Launch
The boats are waiting on the beach in front of the house just after sunrise. Coffee, a gear check, and out.

On the water
Most of the day is sight fishing from the boat — casting to blitzing fish, and sometimes to structure along the coast and beaches.
1:00 PM — Back in
You are met with cold drinks and a late lunch. The rest of the afternoon is yours — the pool, the shade, or the beach in front of the house.

Before you go
Weather
Sunny, dry and very hot — 85–95°F. Bring plenty of waterproof sunscreen, SPF 30 or higher.
Clothing
Lightweight, quick-drying tropical fishing clothing with a high UPF rating, and shoes with non-slip soles for the boat.
Tackle
Flies and terminal tackle are included. Bring your own rods and reels — see theequipment list.
