Getting to Baja House
Fly into Los Cabos or La Paz, and we take it from there.
Where to fly to
Guests arrive into one of two airports. Either works — pick whichever gives you the better connection.
San José del Cabo
SJDLos Cabos International Airport
The larger international hub, with direct flights from most major US cities. Baja House is roughly two hours north.
La Paz
LAPLa Paz International Airport
Smaller and closer to the lodge — a good option if the connection works for you.
The drive
Ground transfer
After you land at Los Cabos or La Paz, a driver meets you and takes you to Baja House. Transfers to and from the airport, and getting around while you are in La Ventana, are included in the trip.
Met on arrival
Your driver meets you at the terminal — no taxi rank, no queue.
One to two hours north
About an hour from La Paz, about two from Los Cabos, through the Baja desert.
Passport requirements
A valid US passport is required
Every traveller needs one to enter Mexico.
Valid for the length of your stay
Check the expiry date well before you travel.
No visa for stays under 180 days
US residents do not need a visa for a trip of this length.

Traveller essentials
Money
Credit cards are accepted at most local stores and restaurants. For small purchases, change money at one of the exchange windows when you land.
Climate
Sunny, dry and very hot — typically 85–95°F. The UV index is high, so sun protection matters more than anything else you pack.
Power
110v US-style outlets throughout the house, so US chargers and plugs work without an adapter.
